Walk a Mile In Her Shoes Sept 14 2013

It’s that time of the year again!
SARC Oregon (http://sarcoregon.org/) is holding their annual fundraiser – Walk A Mile In Her Shoes – the Men’s march to stop violence against women. During a lovely morning in September, men wear high heels and walk for a mile around downtown Beaverton Oregon. It’s a fun event, men look terrific in high heels, and brave sore feet and blisters for a great cause!

Here’s some pics from global Walk a Mile events:

What does SARC do? They keep expanding their offerings. Not only are they a 24 hr crisis line for women in need, they also work with children in sex trafficing, and special services in for Spanish speaking folks.

Even if you can’t make the walk itself, you can donate on their page at http://sarcoregon.org/ or on my page at
www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/laura-lawrence/WAM2013. Small donations add up – even $5 helps. If you can, pledge $20 – $50 today!
